trash to treasure

I love turning trash to treasure...I am always on the lookout for things that can be turned into other things...and I save all kinds of stuff that I know someday I will create something fabulous with it!! Well here is my latest trash to treasure...
I am not sure where my kids got this from, but they had one of those round table with the three screw-in legs. You know the table I'm talking about... not pretty by itself, but looks kind of cute in the corner with a table cloth on it?? Well my girls used this one for tea party's until "somebody" thought they could stand on it and off broke the legs. I saved the round top which is about 20 inches round, and look what I created.... A big wall clock for my new Scrap Studio

The inside circle for the actual clock is 12". I cut the letters and numbers with the Cricut-cuttin' up cart. The flowers are cut out from Fancy Pants-crush paper.
I just love how it turned out, and can't wait to hang it in the Scrap Studio!!

tic tac toe

Some of the gals from class were asking how to
alter items so I decieded to create this cute
tic tac toe game to teach for our next class. I
designed the "tic tac toe" word with the Cricut Design Studio. The paper and the stamps used
for the X's and O's are from Daisy Bucket.

Picture Frame- 4th of July

I created this with the Cricut and Design Studio. I cut the mat and stars from George, and the font is Opposites Attract. I embossed with the CuttleBug.
All I have to do is add a photo.

B-day Invite's

I was asked to make some simple invites for the Fire Dept. Chief's, surprise 50th B-day Party. Of course I just had to use my Circut. This is from the Paper Pup Cart. The card is smaller 3x3. and I made the perfect sized envelopes with the Enveloper! What an easy and great tool that is!! Everyone loved them. The party was tonight, and he was surprised! So all was good.

What a Face

For this LO I used Storybook cart for the shape and Cuttin' Up for the title. I thought I had a stamp for the swirlys but it was not big enough, so I just drew it and added flowers I cut from some scraps.

This was for a challenge from the Mon Ame Memories site. She has great sales there and a fun forum if you want to check it out. http://www.monamememories.com/

Class LO

Here is my example of what we created in class Wed. The paper is Chatter Box. We used flowers, buttons, a little ribbon, and covered chipboard. For the Title, I showed everyone how to used the Cricut and how to weld words with the Cricut Design Studio. The green blank spot is for the journaling that I never got a chance to finish. And in the midst of all this fun we had all the TV's on in the house so we would not miss who got kicked off Idol!! My top pick made it through! Whoo Hooo!!!

Another cricut creation

I just love the endless possibilities of vinyl. I created this for my DH who is a die-hard hunter. I need a better plate stand but for now this will do. This is the brown vinyl on an 11" plate.

Cricut

Some Christmas projects from last year.

I designed this with CDS, used the multi-cut, and that was the end of that blade. Thank goodness PC came out with the deep blade!

Happy Mothers Day Boquets

I created these for a friend who was re-decorating her kid's bathroom. They matched the shower curtain, rug and accessories perfectly!
