Blog Contest

Since I started this blog I have thought about what kind of fun prize contest I could have. I finally came up with one! I have some great news to share and I want make a little contest out of it.

First off, the great news.....I quit smoking!!!! Can ya believe it? I smoked for years! And it has been 2 weeks since my last puff! I am so excited about this, but also scared, I can't keep up with it. So this is where I need your help. Post a comment of encouragement, to help me stay on the right "non-smoking" path and help me get through the rest of my first "non-smoking" month. You can only post once. and have until April 3rd to post. On the 4th I will randomly choose a winner and send you a wonderful scrappy prize!! So who wants to help me get through the next two weeks??

Mommy's Chapstick

I created this LO for a Challenge over on the All Moments Remembered site.
We had to incorporate those word quote bubbles in our LO. At first I did not think I would be able to come up with something, until I came across this photo and thought it would be perfect. Gotta love my dog Rigley, he just makes any LO, POP!!
Enjoy

I used Piggy Tales-paper, Cricut-CU, Printed out the quote bubbles.

For her 9th Birthday, she picked to go horseback riding. We all had a great time.

I used WRMK-paper, Cricut-OA, Prima-flower, Thickers-puffy letter stickers.

Twister

I just love how this LO turned out. I wanted a distressed look, but still cute.
I used the MM-edge scrapper on almost everything. I even sanded the edges of the photos first, then used the edge scrapper.

Again it is WRMK-paper, Thickers-foam letter stickers, And a few Petaloo-flowers

The Hat

My nephew just loved wearing my DD's hat when they were here for a visit.

I think this is Daisy D's paper, misc-ribbon and buttons, Prima-flower, Thickers-puffy letter sticker.

Cousins

I used WRMK-paper, letters, Misc-buttons.
I thought the quote went perfect with this photo of all the cousins.

Baby & Cookie

This is my DD and Nephew, We call her Baby and they call him Cookie.

Double LO Queen

I was the queen of double LO's this past weekend! I scrapped bunches and had a great time!! I even had DH take me to dinner on Sat. night AND buy me some scrappy things at M's and HL!
If only I could be queen every weekend.... ok back to reality! I already posted the Shad fishing double LO.
Here is, oh this is so sad to admit, but here is Halloween LO's from 06 and 07, if I wasent sick of looking at orange I would have done 08's too. Yep I am a little behind on my scrappin.

I used Making Memories Paper, Foam Thickers, and the chipboard ghost shape is from Making Memories too. The LO above is just cardstock, Reminisce Stickers, and scraps

These photos are from 07 when we got our pool and pond. I used Bazzill Cardstock and We R Memory Keepers Pattern Paper, Prima flowers, and some Bling

Oh I loved doing this one. Can you tell it is curtains like on a stage? I made them with cardstock and some inking. Also used Petaloo flowers, and a few misc stickers.

Lake George

For those of you in the NW Indiana area, who hasn't played in slimy Lake George??
Well last summer my girls did, and boy did they stink! But they had a great time catching Shad.
I created this double LO using Basic Grey-Granola paper. I wish I had more room for all the photos I took.
Here is the LO and then a close up of each page. Remember you can click on the images for a bigger view.

Crafty Day

Yesterday i was cleaning out my scrap room and made a pile of things for my daughters to have. They both decided to get a little crafty with their new stash. My oldest made these cute "Free Passes" for me. I thought it was so sweet! A free hug, A day of Quiet, Dinner! She really put some thought into some of the things she could do to brighten my day.

My youngest took some scraps and made these cute LO's. She just loves the photo of her cousin taking a nap with our dog.
I am so proud of both of them, and I'm glad they enjoy being crafty.
