Blog Contest

Since I started this blog I have thought about what kind of fun prize contest I could have. I finally came up with one! I have some great news to share and I want make a little contest out of it.

First off, the great news.....I quit smoking!!!! Can ya believe it? I smoked for years! And it has been 2 weeks since my last puff! I am so excited about this, but also scared, I can't keep up with it. So this is where I need your help. Post a comment of encouragement, to help me stay on the right "non-smoking" path and help me get through the rest of my first "non-smoking" month. You can only post once. and have until April 3rd to post. On the 4th I will randomly choose a winner and send you a wonderful scrappy prize!! So who wants to help me get through the next two weeks??

  2. Congrats on your first two weeks being smoke-free!! That is SO wonderful! I have a very dear friend that also just quit smoking and she has now almost been smoke free for a WHOLE year!! YOU can do this! Don't give up! From what she told me it may get harder at times during the next few weeks, but once you get past that it only gets a ton easier. Keep up the great work!

  3. OMG THAT IS GREAT!!!!! I know you can do it, just stay strong.

Think of how many years you will get back if you stop smoking for good. Your lungs will partially heal over time. Quitting smoking is the best thing you can do for yourself.

  5. Congrats! I know how tough quitting smoking can be, but it is so worth it. And one day you will wonder how you ever had such a disgusting habit. Whenever I felt like a cigarette I told myself it is a lot easier to just not do it then it will be to start smoking again, and then just try quitting again later. And your kids and family will thank you for it!

  8. Hang in there girl, you can do it...imagine things will smell fresher, not musty. Imagine the heaps of scrappy supplies you can buy for what you were spending on cigarettes...That is incentive enough for you to hang in there...Good Luck!!!
